WAKAFLEX is a premium lead free flashing that is an alternative to traditional lead flashing. It is predominantly used on residential tile roofs but can also be used on metal and polycarbonate. No specialist tools are required, and installation can be up to 50% quicker than traditional lead flashing. Wakaflex is an extremely resilient material that’s UV resistant and completely waterproof. Inside the main Wakaflex body is an aluminium mesh that provides rigidity and a lasting memory of the roof profile when dressed to the roof surface. Wakaflex has two butyl sealing strips running along both edges of the 5 metre rolls and a 3 piece HDPE protective backing. It can stretch up to 50% in length and 15% in width. Wakaflex is designed to replace lead flashing in all its traditional applications and is easily dressed down by hand to any roof material with a smooth seamless finish.

Best For – New build applications such as abutments, step-flashing, chimney, Dutch Gables, skylights

and as a penetration flashing.

DAKAFLASH is Australia’s best value lead free flashing range. It’s a composite laminate flashing consisting of a coloured creped aluminium top sheet, with 100% butyl adhesive that’s protected with a two piece HDPE backing. Embedded within the butyl adhesive is the same reinforcing aluminium mesh that’s inside our best-selling lead free flashing; Wakaflex. This provides Dakaflash with additional rigidity and support compared to Smartform while maintaining the smooth contoured finish people associate with Wakaflex. It can stretch up to 30% in length and is designed to replace lead flashing in all its traditional application, for those who prefer a fully butyl back and a cheaper price point.

Best For – New build applications such as abutments, step-flashing, chimney, Dutch Gables, and maintenance flashing work

SMARTFORM is made from the same creped aluminium top-sheet and Butyl adhesive as DAKAFLASH but is does not have the aluminium reinforced mesh. With up to 60% stretch in length, Smartform is the most versatile flashing in the range. This makes it suitable for ad-hoc and difficult to flash areas such as roof penetrations, ducts and sky lights as well as extreme roof profile shapes like KLIP-LOK metal, and polycarbonate roofing sheets. Because Smartform can stretch up to 60% it’s capable of flashing around a 360 degree diameter in one piece and is perfect for lining roofing components that are prone to rusting by creating a waterproof flashing barrier such as box gutters.

Best For – Roof penetration flashing, ad-hoc jobs with extreme profiles, lining box gutters, valleys, carports, wall connections, dormers and chimneys.
