Dakaflash

DAKAFLASH incorporates the reinforced aluminium mesh from Wakaflex with the creped aluminium top sheet and butyl backing from Smartform

DAKAFLASH is a composite laminate flashing consisting of a creped aluminium

top sheet with a 100% self-adhesive butyl backing. Embedded into this adhesive is the same aluminium mesh that’s inside Wakaflex, which gives DAKAFLASH rigidity and support, as well as allowing for a smooth contoured finish on the roof surface. DAKAFLASH can stretch up to 30% in length and has a two-piece protective HDPE backing.

BEST FOR – New build homes, second storey additions, abutments, chimneys, and flashing maintenance. Use on tile, metal, and polycarbonate roofs.

  • Internal aluminium mesh
  • Fully self-adhesive butyl backing
  • Creped aluminium surface
  • Can be used as part of a BAL 19 system
